Custom Cuts: Which one next?

in Binders In Depth

Hey, shapeshifters! Hope your October’s been appropriately spoopy.

I’ve been writing things on the various Custom Cut options, and I’d like your input: which binder option would you most like to hear more about?

Your choices are:

  1. Low Neck / High Neck

  2. Mesh Back

  3. Relaxed Fit

  4. Narrow Straps / Wide Straps

  5. Taper In At Waist

  6. Something else! (Tell us in the comments!)

Leave a comment below with your pick and I’ll write up that post for next week!

*ETA: The winner is Relaxed Fit! Read all about it right here.

i think narrow straps would be very great, since tank tops and other shirts like that!

Relaxed fit, for sure. I’d like to know what the difference is between that and the normal fit and how it’d affect the binder’s compression.

I’d really love to here more about taper in at the waist, as my relaxed fit binder kind of flaps around at the bottom. As someone with chronic pain, my relaxed fit binder has been amazingly helpful, but I’d love to have it be more form fitting at the bottom if possible.

My vote would be narrow straps, mostly for when you wear a binder without a shirt (if you do that? can you do that?).

I would probably be interested in hearing more about mesh back binders, as I feel like that would be really helpful in hotter climates for keeping cool. I also want to hear about narrower straps because they are easier to hide/more inconspicuous.

    5> Taper in at Waist
Would that make it more difficult to put on non-zip/stiff insert binders? Or is this option available only for zipper added versions?

I’m curious about relaxed fit! Would it affect the effectiveness of the binder? I have a tendency to overheat so anything that clings to the skin less is probably good for me! I’m just curious what effect that has on the binder as a binder

I’m curious in the tapered in waist and the different sized straps. What would a tapered waist do? Could a thinner strap be hidden more easily?
