A measuring tape is all it takes
We at Shapeshifters know that no body is built the same. That's why, over years of making binders, sports bras, and dresses, we've developed our own in-house sizing system that caters to people of all sizes. With just a few easy measurements, we can adjust any garment to your needs and preferences.Binder Measurement Guide
Chest: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest. Inhale. (It’s often easiest and most accurate to do this lying down.)Under-chest: Slide the tape measure down until it's wrapped around your ribcage. Inhale.
Stomach: Slide the tape measure down again, until it's at the narrowest point of your waist (for long binders) or at the point you want the binder to end (for medium binders.) If you want a little midsection compression, suck your tummy in as you measure. Hips: Wrap the tape measure around where you want the binder to end. Do not pull overtight.
Length: Place the end of the tape measure at the top of your shoulder and let it drop down your chest. Measure down to where you’d like the bottom hem of the binder to fall.
*Note! Stomach and Hip measurements are only necessary for certain lengths. If your binder length is 16" or less, we don't need 'em.

Skirt Length: Place the end of the tape measure at your previously-chosen waistline and drop it down your leg. Without bending too much, measure to where you want the skirt to end. (It’s helpful to have a friend do this one!)
